Tape and reel inspection solution
Microfocus X-ray technology enables the in-depth inspection for minute
structures and defects hidden within miniaturized devices and systems.
For semiconductor devices in tape and reel packaging, X-ray inspection
can be deployed for fast and non-destructive component screening
without removing the devices from their packaging. Manual and automated
inspections allow the detection of various defects, such as voiding,
bond wire opens and shorts, and loop sagging. Furthermore, counterfeit
components can be identified and marked while still in the embossed
tape. X-ray inspection prevents such defectivecomponents from being
assembled in circuit boards.
