Essemtec shows pick&place system FLX2011 at Electronica 2008
Essemtec announces that it will for the first time show a
pick&place machine on the upcoming Electronica 2008 exhibition in
Munich, Germany. Therefore, customer can get information about
components, applications and production machines in one single place.
Essemtec's target is to help customers save time for visiting other
exhibitions.
On it's booth A2-431 Essemtec shows the worlds most flexible SMD assembly system, the new automatic pick&place FLX2011. In addition to the pick&place head this system can be equipped with up to two dispensing systems. The FLX2011 can mount non-SMD components, too, such as metal domes or through-hole LED. The machine can be configured as standalone, in-line or batch machine. For more throughput and higher feeder capacity it offers modular expansion. Up to 480 SMD feeders can be connected and the working area can be as large as 780x600 mm. The FLX2011 is 20% faster and more accurate than it's predecessor, the FLX2010 with more than five hundred installations worldwide.
Essemtec AG with headquarters in Aesch, Switzerland, is exhibiting at Electronica 2008 together with partner companies, e.g. Cluster Microsystemtechnik Hochschule Landshut and the Frauenhofer Institut. The Swiss Essemtec machine company is a leader in the area of flexible production systems for the global electronics industry. Since 1991 the company designs, manufactures and sells equipment for all stages of electronics production such as paste print, dispensing, placement and soldering with manually, semiautomatic and fully automated machines. The product portfolio encompasses also conveyor and storage systems, as well as software solutions for planning, simulation, optimization and the documentation of production processes. All Essemtec equipment has been optimized for maximum flexibility. They provide the users with the capability to ASAP change over from one product to the other on the shop floor and at the same time using the manufacturing capacity to its maximum. Essemtec - Be more flexible.
