Huber+Suhner – wireless broadband mmW connection
With a unique combination of material and radio frequency technology Huber+Suhner has launched a new system for wireless broadband communication. SENCITY® Link is an easy to install point-to-point data link for bridging distances of up to 800 metres.
SENCITY®LINK operates at a frequency of 60 Ghz with a net data rate of 100 Mbps full duplex over a distance of up to 800 m (2600 ft). Measuring only 16x16 cm (6.3"x 6.3"), its compact size is due to deep integration of its active and passive components. The SENCITY® Link system is unique in its small unobtrusive size and ease of installation which is facilitated by the simplicity of an optical pointing and alignment bracket. Extensive trials and customer installations have proven that this HUBER+SUHNER solution mitigates expensive civil works and minimizes visual impact.
Many applications
Applications include enterprise and campus connectivity, disaster recovery, fiber backup, replacement or extension, and high capacity internet protocol backhaul for emerging IP cellular and WiFi / WiMAX deployments. Due to the unique physics of oxygen absorption in this frequency band, this product is especially suited for industrial or governmental high security applications.
