When “electronica & Productronica China” opens
its gates from 21 – 23 March 2007 together with SEMICON China and
LASER. World of Photonics China, a new partner will be joining them:
the China Printed Circuit Association (CPCA) and the CPCA Show. This
means that the most important events for the electronics industry in
Shanghai will be taking place simultaneously at the Shanghai New
International Expo Center.
Munich, Germany, September 13,
2006. Messe München International, a leading organizer of
electronics trade shows around the world, and the China Printed Circuit
Association (CPCA) will be cooperating closely in the future. Within
the framework of this cooperation, the CPCA Show will be held in
Shanghai simultaneously with the “electronica &
ProductronicaChina with PCIM China,” “LASER. World of
Photonics China” and “SEMICON China” trade shows at
the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) from 21 – 23
March 2007.
Together with its partners, SEMI and CPCA, Messe
München has thus succeeded in bringing together the Chinese
electronics industry’s most important events at the Shanghai New
International Expo Center. - The CPCA Show, ProductronicaChina, and SEMICON China present the entire spectrum of electronics production. -
“electronicaChina with PCIM China” shows the entire
spectrum of electronic components, from semiconductors to passive
components and all the way to interconnect technology. - LASER.
World of Photonics China just recently expanded the ensemble of trade
shows offered in Shanghai. In March 2006, this show took place for the
first time, and right from the start it was the region’s most
important industry meeting place for applications in the field of
photonics.
The trade shows will cover seven halls in the SNIEC
in 2007, and thus form the largest platform for the presentation of
electronics in China.
Besides co-location of the trade shows,
the cooperation between CPCA and Messe München International
includes joint development of new exhibition focal points and
conferences.

About “electronic & Productronica China” and “Global electronics” The
electronica & ProductronicaChina event is the leading regional
trade show for electronic elements and assemblies and electronics
production in China. It takes place each March in conjunction with
LASER. World of Photonics China in Shanghai. Messe München
International (MMI, Munich Trade Fairs International Group) organizes
this trade show as part of its "Global electronics" network, which
includes electronica, Productronica, and LASER.World of Photonics,
which are the world’s leading trade shows in their industry
sectors. The network also includes premier regional trade shows in
Brazil, Hong Kong, China and India. With a total of over 8,000
exhibiting companies and more than 280,000 attendees for the "Global
electronics" events, MMI is one of the world's leading trade show
organizers in this sector. The www.global-electronics.net Internet
portal is an online platform for the international electronics
industry. It offers such resources as industry news, market data,
product innovation updates, and application reports as well as

About China Printed Circuit Association (CPCA) China
Printed Circuit Association (CPCA) is under the Ministry of Information
Industry Department of the People’ Republic of China. Established
in June 1990, it is national grade one industry association with
independent legal position approved by the Administration of Civil
Affairs Department. It has around 600 members who are mainly consist of
PCB producers, CCL and material suppliers, special equipment
manufactures, SMT and EMS manufacturers and related research
institutes. Nine national grade two branch associations are under CPCA.
CPCA is a member of the World Electronic Circuits Council (WECC)
whose members include IPC of America, JPCA of Japan, EIPC of Europe,
KPCA of Korea, IPCA of India ,HKPCA of Hong Kong China and TPCA of
Taipei China. CPCA organizes a large number of enterprises to
participate in compiling of CPCA standards. It works with IPC and JPCA
to compile joint standards. It compiles custom terms and consumption
rates of materials, publishes Printed Circuit Information magazine and
professional books, creates professional website, holds CPCA show in
March annually, holds Spring and Autumn PCB Technology/Information
Forum, conducts vocational training and focused lectures, compiles PCB
Industry Directory, publishes “The top 100 enterprises in China
Electronic Circuits Industry”. In March,2008, the 11th
Electronic Circuit World Convention(ECWC11)will be held in China for
the first time in conjunction with CPCA SHOW . CPCA is a member of
the WECC World Electronic Circuits Council, a group of the
world’s leading trade associations for the printed circuit
industry. The member associations – such as the Hong Kong Printed
Circuit Association (HKPCA), the IPC Association Connecting Electronics
Industries of America, IPCA of India, KPCA of Korea, TPCA of Taiwan and
JPCA of Japan – organize important trade show events for the PCB
industry in their home countries. In 2008, the CPCA will also be organizing the WECC Summit during the CPCA Show.
