Component mount technology/Soldering technology
Nearly all of the world’s leading manufacturers presented at Productronica innovative solutions for mounting electronic assemblies and for subsequent work steps such as soldering, gluing, dispensing and product finishing. On 44,000 square meters of exhibition space, they will present the latest developments in reflow technology, demonstrate what state-of-theart SMT machines are capable of and which assembly-line solutions can be used to meet your requirements.

Production logistics and material-flow technology
Exhibitors in the sector for production logistics and material-flow technology presented efficient solutions for reliable product tracking, cost-cutting ERP (enterprise resource planning) and MES (material/manufacturing execution systems). Applications range from merchandise management systems and logistics management to packaging technology.

EMS Village
EMS Village was an information and discussion platform for providers and users of electronic manufacturing services where CEMs, OEMs and EMS providers could gather information about outsourcing their development, production and logistics needs.

PCB technology
More than 180 international exhibitors presented innovative products and services such as generating circuit structures, chemical processing, MID production, clean-room technology and printing tools and photomasters. Trend-setting technologies and objective-oriented marketstrategies was discussed in the forums.

Organics Electroncs 

The leading world trade fair for electronics production productronica 2007 was paying special attention to the topic of "organic electronics" as one of the key technologies for the 21st century and is providing a comprehensive overview of the manufacturing processes for electronics, which are based on polymers and monomers (small molecules).

As a special highlight the demonstration line at productronica 2007 was being arranged by Messe München in collaboration with the German Engineering Federation (VDMA), special Productronic Division. The product and technology for the "shape-adapted electronics" was developed by the Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration (IZM).
