The exhibitor and visitor survey of the electronica 2006 overwhelmingly confirmed the international trade show’s outstanding position. The number of qualifi ed professionals in attendance grew an impressive 5% over 2004; the proportion of professional visitors rose from 98.7% to 99.3% compared to 2004. Impressive proof of the fair’s high internationality was the further increase in the proportion of international visitors to 45%. With these record results, the consistent development of the electronica’s application-oriented approach already created measurable results for the future in 2006.
