"Process Advice & Defect Clinic" is a special feature organised by Bob Willis to provide visitors at Productronica, Germany. Located in Hall A4 Stand 146 the clinic provides an opportunity to obtain process advice and free consultancy on common process problems, RoHS compliance and field failures all expertly diagnosed by Bob and his crystal ball. There will also be the opportunity to have boards inspected and tested during the show with support engineers from our feature sponsors Balver Zinn, DAGE Industries, KIC & Thermo Scientific (Nitton).
Each day of the exhibition visitors will be able to visit the "Process Advice & Defect Clinic" with questions, process issues or defects for examination and discussion. This is an ideal opportunity for visitors to gain practical advice on the most common causes of production and in field failure as well as testing boards and components. Each month leading up to the show we are producing a "Lead-Free Defect of the Month".
A special "Colour Process Defect Guide" will be available at Productronica to collect from the Process Advice & Defect Clinic. The guide illustrates many of the common defects found in manufacture and possible causes to aid visitor drive to zero defect manufacture. Many of the defects will feature lead-free manufacture issues and will be ideal for future reference. |
